I grew up like most of you collecting rubber monsters..I had a box in my closet that was about 50lbs..my friends and I would weight them? Those are all gone but I found a full set of my favorites on ebay about 10 years ago..any info on these? Im also a artist and I paint a lot of bulging eyeballs and big mouths full of teeth..just like my toys from the 70's..[img src="[/img i1238.photobucket.com/albums/ff482/fishpainter/monsters.jpg"]

Welcome fishpainter.
The Tortured Prisoner series of rubber toys in your photo are generally called "Spooky Kooky". They are quite frequently seen on ebay for sale with their display cards.
I like your artwork and fishing photos too. Looks like you must be up north in Washington or Alaska?

These were my favorite toys as a kid also. I still have two of them. You're painting is great! I went on to be an artist also. I was an animator on the Simpsons and then I started websites like whack your boss and doodieman! Great to see your picture with all the characters. It got me searching for other images and there certainly were quite a few of them.
