Hello folks, i remember collecting rubber monsters as a kid, back in the 60s, the really tiny ones and the larger ones, My question is how would you make one, say you had a new sculpt, what material would you make the mold out of, and what material would be used to create the feel and texture of the old jigglers for the cast Thanks folks

Gaz, Here's a reply I received from an expert in making modern day jigglers. I was thinking of using an existing piece.
Here's what I would do. Make a mold of this guy as is. His parting line is already there for you to follow. Pour in jewelers wax or heat up some polymer clay and get your casting. Your mold will follow the contour of your parting line. Then revise your casting from there and add back his missing thumb and the added eye slots. You can change anything you like at that point. Once you have your new sculpt then make another mold. Done! Let me know if you have more questions.
