I am pretty open about my passions, hobbies and collections. Often I will share some piece of information, a memory or cherished find with someone else who seems to recall that from their long lost memory banks. It's a rush for me when I start providing them with pictures and context seeing them suddenly realize their own knowledge of the past pleasures. Rarely do I find others with desires to maintain a collection of all the past memories. But it's fun to engage with someone who just turned eight years old again.
As for my family, that's just who I am - a collector.
