There is a whole other class of rubber toys that don't really fall into the Ugly category but are collected with similar ardent. These are the rubber eraser toys that you might have gotten from a cereal box or Dime Store bin. They were manufactured by the Diener Company from 1969 to late into the 80's. Diener rubber is much more ridged than the Jiggler or oily skin toys. In fact it really is the same as you will find at the end of your pencil to erase mistakes.
The Diener rubber toys of interest are those which copied larger Jiggler figures, dinosaurs, robots, space ships and monsters.
