Hi! These photos are of a collection of these rubber monsters my brother and I amassed as children in South London in the late 1960s. I discovered them in a box while having a clearing out prior to moving home. Most are as good as new but some have ingrained good old English dirt on them. There are even some mini/children of monsters to the same design. Ideally I’d like to find them all a good home as they are a bit like old friends but when I became a man, I put away childish things. If a collector would like them I’m happy to send them at just the price of postage which you can paypal to me. Martin [ukuggy1958]

Hi Martin, I sent you an email earlier, looking forward to your reply. I've been thinking and would very much like to know what your memories about these Rubber Ugly monsters are after so many years. How did you get them, from a store, as gifts, trading with your friends? How did you and your brother 'play' with them? How? Did you give them names, as you recall? How long did they stay important to you before being boxed up and put aside? Its a very nice collection and I would love to add them alongside my others. They would be treated and respected very well with me. Thanks again for posting them here. Mike AKA: Astronit

Hi Chris and Martin, If you are interested in finding new homes for your fella, I'd be interested in providing a flat for them! Robert
