Has anyone attempted to make their own jigglers? Just wondering if it would be possible to make one using an existing one and cast a mold (without ruining the original). Also keep the cost reasonable.
I'm thinking more Ben Cooper quality then Russ Berrie.
My guess is that you would have to make a two piece mold of either plastic or silicone.
If you can make the mold, what materials would you need to create the feel and texture of the old style? A type of Silicone as well?
Anyone have thoughts I would be interesting in hearing your suggestions.

The mold could be plaster of paris, as long as you grease up the original figure enough so that it can pulled loose onces the cast sets without wrecking it. As for the figure itself, you could use synthetic rubber which is easily poured. Another thought with lots of colors is the goop sold for the creepy crawly thingmaker.

Just wanted to update my attempt to update my favorite jiggler, Grease Trap Gregory. Most of the work was done thanks to Etsy vendors. Not bad for a first try! Attachments:
