Keep watching and you'll see them for sale at lesser prices. They are indeed one of the more common rubber figures available. There were either lots and lots made (with significant overstock still being liquidated) or they have been in continues production recently. The carded ones might be a more recent release. they were origonally sold in bulk boxes at Dime Stores in the 70's. Older varieties seem to have darker rubber tone. Also some of the older ones were made in brown rubber rather than pink-flesh color. I haven't see many of them.
