Looking for a 1st generation Joel or what I call "Iris" It seems that all the ones I have seen on ebay lately are later variations or missing fringes on the side of it's abdomen or worse yet, it's hanging eye is gone. I know Astronit loves this particular one as well, but it doesn't hurt to ask. I don't have paypal on ebay and I get rejected sometimes, but I'm as honest as they come. As a matter of fact, I sold a small collection to Monsterman and he was quite happy with it. I will pay a generous amount for a clean example. Thanks and Happy New Year everyone. A first generation Joel is actually a rare find. The body is huge and very BULKY compared to all others. I believe Astronit scored another recently, but I don't know if he sells non-doubles. These are mine, the top left guy is 1st gen.

I just got lucky and scored a rubber uglie lot on ebay and got a 1st generation Joel. It has 2 eye stalks and the strangest thing is that it hardly has any teeth at all. This weekend I will post pics of my latest uglies. It also got a Steve that looks quite different than the one I had before it. Thank you for the reply.

Yes, I am pretty fond of the Joel figures regardless of what generation they are from. I do have two that are quite similar in color (the ones with the yellow eyes) and might be able to part with one of them. They are both in excellent shape with no missing eyes, teeth, tentacles or frills.
