I few weeks ago I purchased a box full of about 150-200 plastic figures from the 1970s. The were pretty filthy. Lotsa neat little figures in there. Among them were about 2 dozen of these Rubber Uglies and Slurfies. I spent a little while cleaning them last night. Here are some before and after pictures of the lot.

Hm, looks like I'm still trying to figure out how to add a picture/attachment. This is a group picture BEFORE the cleaning. Attachments:

Nice group of rubber creatures. How did you you plan to sell them?

I actually think I'm going to keep these for now. I have a shelf with a lot of little plastic figures from Freakies to Weebles to Fisher Price figures to Diener Aliens/Robots to plastic animals, cowboys, Indians, etc. You get the idea. These are the first Rubber Uglies and Slurfies I have. I'm kinda excited about adding them to the menagerie.

Give 'em a good home and they'll be your friends for life

Congrats on your finds. Truth be told, I have never found a Rubber Ugly in the wild at any garage sale, estate sale or antique shop! I think lots of folks don't rarely ever consider these sorts of random "junk drawer" toys as treasures when they plan to put stuff out for sale.
