Hey very cool idea. I look forward to meeting more Rubber Monster collectors like myself. As an introduction I'd just say that many who join this forum probably already know me through my Flick'r photo account where I have many pictures of Rubber Ugly collection. I also collect cereal toys, non-sports cards, space ships and comic books. I live in the United States on Cape Cod in MArseachusetts but I move around alot - in fact I will be moving again next month to the State of Virginia.
I have collected Rubber Uglies since 1968 and I still have some of those originals. My favorites are probably the Slurfies because I remember the day I got them as a present from my mom. All of the kids in my neighborhood (at least the boys) collected, traded and played with Rubber Uglies. In sandboxes and on the trampoline they were great fun. We used to call them Brabos because that was the name imprinted on some of them.
I'll try and contribute as much information I can to the forum - when I am able.
